Mogilevliftmash Launches Elevator Assembly Plant
According to cabinews, citing BelTA, the elevator assembly plant opening by Mogilevliftmash in Belarus has been officially completed. The ceremony was attended by Alexander Turchin, the Prime Minister of Belarus, who reviewed the company’s manufacturing facilities and elevator models, which are also planned to be assembled in Azerbaijan. This elevator assembly plant opening marks a significant milestone in the development of the elevator industry in Europe and the Caucasus region.
Two years after the establishment of an elevator assembly plant by Vertus Engineering Company, the firm signed a joint agreement with Mogilevliftmash to launch a new elevator assembly plant in Azerbaijan. Now, with the official elevator assembly plant opening in Belarus, international cooperation in this field has entered its operational phase.

Anton Belsky, Deputy General Director of Commercial Affairs at Mogilevliftmash, stated: “Elevator assembly components are currently being produced in Baku to meet Azerbaijan’s market demand. In Baku alone, there is a need to replace 3,000 elevators, and addressing this demand is a top priority.”
He added: “Mogilevliftmash is also working on the development and production of high-speed elevators, which will contribute significantly to the modernization of the regional elevator sector.”
The elevator assembly plant opening in Belarus not only strengthens economic ties with Azerbaijan but also symbolizes technological advancement in the elevator industry and fosters deeper regional cooperation.
